"National Youth Art Month is a reminder of the value of art to our communities. It encourages support for quality art programs that offer students opportunities to foster and develop skills that may not be experienced elsewhere. ACG has been at the forefront of integrating youth arts in its community work, providing access to contemporary art and educational opportunities for inner-city youth, hosting field trips and giving lectures, exhibiting young artists and engaging youth in grant-funded workshops."

March 20th was also Companies That Care Day. Sponsorship packages with benefits were available for local businesses that wished to publicly champion Arts in Education and in the Capital Region.
